PARO – THIMPU – Punakha – Wangdiphodrang – PARO

Day 01 : Arrive In Paro

Morning / Afternoon arrive in Paro. You will be picked up from the airport and transferred to the hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight at the hotel

Day 02 : In Paro

Morning go for a full-day visit to Drugyal Dzong, enroute viewing Mt. Jhomolhari (alt. 7320 mt). Visit National Museum. If time permits, visit / hike to Taktsang Monastery. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 03 : Paro – Thimpu

Morning proceed to Thimphu by surface (approx. 65 km / 2 hrs). Enroute visit Simtokha Dzong. On arrive in Thimphu, check-in at the hotel. Afternoon visit to the National Library, School of Arts & Crafts (former painting school between 2 & 4 p.m.), Memorial Shorten & leisure in Timphu town. Evening visit to Tashichhodzong. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 05 : Thimpu – Punakha – Wangdiphodrang

Morning depart for Wangdiphodrang (70 kms / 3 hrs alt. 3150 mts). Enroute visit the Dochula Pass and Punakha Dzong. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 06 : Wangdiphodrang – Paro

Morning depart for Paro by surface (approx. 140 kms / 5 hrs) on arrival check-in at the hotel. Afternoon go for a stroll in Paro town. Overnight at the hotel.
